MUSICIANS WAGES:

1937: Glenn Miller Orchestra (14-piece band)
8:00pm-3:00pm Sunday June 6th, 1937 Playland Casino, New York: $200 total ($14.25 per musician)

1950 (House band at the Trocadero, Edmonton)
3 sets a night, 6 nights a week: $42 per week per musician

1999: 3 sets, one night: $85 per musician

FINES:

1996: Dropping a mute: $10.00
Dropping a horn: $20.00 (+ repair costs)
Dopping dead: a stern warning

ARRANGEMENTS:

16 hours: Time to transpose an existing arrangement into a different key, re-voice, and print. (To accomodate a new singer's range) Time to perform piece: 3 minutes. 320 performances will be required to "break even"
